CJM invited John Zorn to curate this series of sound pieces in the
special events gallery. Jewlia is one of the composeres commissioned
by Zorn to create sound piece exploring a letter from the Hebrew
alphabet. Aleph-Bet features new work by leading musicians and composers
such as Lou
Reed, Laurie
Anderson, Erik
Friedlander, David
Greenberger, Z’EV, Terence
Riley, Alvin
Curran, Christina
Kubisch, Marina

your local Hostess Jewlia Eisenberg. Charming Hostess will be performing
HEAVENSHOW, an electroacoustic site-specific piece based on the
Hebrew letter Hei.
