Songs for the Ancestors

Book of J (Jewlia Eisenberg and Jeremiah Lockwood) will play songs from Armenia, Bosnia, Poland, and America.  Kugelplex will collaborate with poet James Baloian on a piece about the Armenian genocide and the perseverance of the Armenian people.

Such a pleasure to sing again with Charming Hostesses who now live in the Charming diaspora: Marika Hughes, Ariela Morgenstern, and Nina Rolle.  

What fun to play with the people they play with, and now I play with: Christelle Durandy, Dave Wiley, Raoul Rossiter.

How cool was it to present the Ginzburg Geography to a horde of Italian professors, getting deep into the texts and contexts?  So cool!  Thanks Valerio Ferme and David Shneer.
